Ilayda Ozbilgin

Ilayda Ozbilgin is a senior at Saint Mary’s College of California, double majoring in Psychology and Dance: Choreography & Performance Studies. She completed a clinical internship at Saint Mary’s College Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), where she gained experience in counseling processes and student support. She also served as an assistant at the 2025 Western California Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference (WPCUR) and worked as an intern blog writer in Aviation Psychology. Outside of her academic work, Ilayda volunteers with Make-A-Wish Türkiye, supporting children facing serious illnesses. She is particularly interested in psychopathology, clinical psychology, forensic psychology, and neuropsychology. Ilayda hopes to combine her academic knowledge, research interests, and passion for understanding human behavior to contribute to compassionate, evidence-based, and innovative approaches to mental health and psychological care.
